Where do I being with Annie..... She is my once in a lifetime dog.
Annie came into our lives when she was 1 years old from Elkhart Standard Schnauzers.
Annie has won at numerous shows including the Eukanuba/AKC Championship in FL.
There she was Winner's Bitch. (2014) Annie also earns several Best of Breed awards too. She earned her CH title in 2015 with Donna Hills of Bravo Kennels.
After earning her Championship, Annie has been shown her owner, Katrina Maddux. Together they picked up Select Bitch at the 2016 SSCA National Specialty week. The first day of the show which was the Texas Working Dog Association of Greater Houston, SSCA Supported entry, Annie went Select Bitch over 40 other bitches. Thank you to Marion Kidd for this honor. It was a day we will always remember.
Annie finished her GCH title with Katrina at the Atlanta Spring show in 2017.
There she got Best of Opposite Sex and went Select Bitch that same weekend.
She also picked up a Group 2 win in Working Group National Owner Handler Series.
Annie and Katrina finished out 2017 with a bang.
Annie earned her Bronze Grand Championship title and her Beginner Novice Obedience title.
Next stop was Royal Canin for the NOHS finals where they came in #7
for Standard Schnauzers in 2017 in NOHS!
In 2018 Annie and Katrina showed at the 142nd Westminster Kennel Club Show in New York City, NY.
Annie earned her Trick Dog Novice title and CA (Coursing Ability Test title) in 2018. In 2019 Annie was retired from the conformation ring after her Best of Opposite Sex win at the 143rd Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show (2019). Since then, Annie has earned her BCAT, TKN, CGCA, FDC, CAA and is on her way to her DCAT and CAX. She also received the Potomac Valley Standard Schnauzer Clubs Versatility Award in 2017. Annie is one of our best and Summer and Heggie have some big paws to fill. So many dreams came true with Annie and goals I thought we would never get were accomplished.
In 2021 Annie and I showed in several events as a Veteran and earned her Companion Dog Title (CD). Annie also earned her (V) Versatility Award from SSCA. In 2022 Annie and I were invited to the AKC Obedience Classic in Orlando, FL. It was a fun experience, and we learned a lot! We also showed as a Veteran and earn an Award of Excellence. At 9 years old Annie showed them how it was done. When not at shows Annie loves to chase squirrels and play with her sister, Summer.
